According to the Indian Army, the interaction focused on strengthening bilateral military ties, expanding professional exchanges and exploring avenues for greater collaboration in areas of mutual interest. The engagement reinforced the two countries longstanding defence partnership.

The meeting came amid a broader series of India-Russia defence engagements. The two countries recently hold the 24th Working Group meeting under the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Military Technical Cooperation and Defence Industry, where officials discussed existing cooperation and explored opportunities for co-production and co-development.

Separately, Indian Navy personnel continuous engagements with Russian counterparts, including activities linked to INS Sahyadri’s visit to Vladivostok. Together, these interactions reflect efforts to sustain cooperation across the Army, Navy and defence-industrial sectors.

No specific new defence contract or military agreement is announced as part of the Sapta Shakti Command interaction. The meeting primarily underscored the importance of continued military dialogue, professional exchanges and institutional cooperation between New Delhi and Moscow.
