3 Soldiers Killed in encounter in Kashmir, PAFF takes responsibility

Kulgam: Three army soldiers have been killed in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmirs Kulgam district.

As per the Indian Army, the joint encounter operation by the army and the police started yesterday evening based on specific information about the presence of terrorists at Halan forests area.

As the troops zeroed in on the terrorists, they came under heavy firing. Three army soldiers were killed in the encounter.

In another tweet it said, "Chinar Corps salutes the valour & sacrifice of Hav Babulal Haritwal, Sigmn Vala Mahipalsinh Pravinsinh & Rfn Waseem Sarwar of 34 Rashtriya Rifles, who laid down their life in the line of duty in Op Halan, #Kulgam in a firefight with terrorists on 04 Aug 23." Meanwhile terrorist outfit ‘People’s Anti-Fascist Front’ has taken responsibility of attack via social networking sites. The terrorist outfit said that they have carried out attack on army on the eve of Article 370 anniversary and will soon release the video footage of the attack.
