The MoU is signed by Rear Admiral Aditya Hara, representing the Indian Navy, and Er. Vinay Rai, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Career Defence School. It establishes a framework for exploring mutually agreed educational activities and opportunities for student engagement, subject to applicable approvals.

The collaboration seeks to familiarise students with career pathways in the Indian Navy and the wider Armed Forces, including eligibility requirements and preparation for competitive examinations. It also emphasises qualities such as physical fitness, teamwork, perseverance, integrity and leadership.

For Career Defence School, the partnership aligns with its approach of combining academic preparation with character-building and personal development. The institution aims to help students make informed decisions about defence careers while developing the confidence and discipline required to pursue their ambitions.

The school’s outreach efforts include a two-day career-awareness seminar in Leh and Kargil in July 2026, which introduces students to preparation pathways for institutions such as the National Defence Academy and Indian Institutes of Technology.

The agreement reflects a broader effort to strengthen links between educational institutions and the Armed Forces. However, specific activities under the new MoU will depend on mutual agreement, and the announcement does not establish any guaranteed recruitment or entry into the Navy.
