Jayadeva EP set to be next Director (Operations) of HAL

• Jayadeva EP has been recommended by PESB to be the next Director (Operations) of HAL
  
• Jayadeva is currently working as a General Manager in the same Navratna Defence PSU

New Delhi: Jayadeva EP is set to be the next Director (Operations) of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), a head-hunter body for the PSUs. Presently, he is serving as General Manager in the same Navratna PSU.

Jayadeva has been recommended for the post of Director (Operations) of HAL from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on Monday. Out of seven candidates, six candidates were from HAL and one was from Bharat Forge Limited.

As Director (Operations) of HAL, Jayadeva will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). He will be functional head for corporate planning & projects; joint ventures; offsets; modernisation; indigenisation; business development & marketing; quality assurance; customer services; management services and information technology; outsourcing; risk management and flight testing.
