BEL contributes Rs 1.36 Cr to Karnataka CM’s relief fund

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has contributed Rs 1.36 crores to the Karnataka Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for relief work in flood-hit areas of Karnataka

Bengaluru: The employees of Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) have contributed an amount of Rs 1.36 crores to the Karnataka Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for relief work in flood-hit areas of Karnataka.

BEL's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Gowtama MV and Director (HR) Shivakumaran KM handed over the cheque for Rs 1,36,80,000 (Rupees One Crore Thirty-Six Lakhs Eighty Thousand only) to the Karnataka's Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Friday. On the occasion, senior officials of BEL were also present.
