Chhattisgarh committed for the welfare of ex-servicemen: Guv

He was speaking during the 15th Annual Meeting of the Amalgamated Special Fund of Chhattisgarh.

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan has reiterated the commitment of the State for the welfare of ex-servicemen. He was speaking during the 15th Annual Meeting of the Amalgamated Special Fund of Chhattisgarh. The annual meeting was chaired by Governor Harichandan at Raj Bhavan on January 5, 2024.

GOC Madhya Bharat Area Lt Gen Padam Singh Shekhawat was present on the occasion. The meeting was also attended by the Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain and Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Pingua. The GOC also met Governor separately and discussed issues related to the welfare of the soldiers and ex-servicemen.

The Governor on the occasion felicitated the persons who made significant contributions for the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund and addressed the gathering at Raj Bhavan on January 5.

GOC Madhya Bharat Area, also called on CM, Chhattisgarh Vishnu Deo Sai and conveyed his best wishes and greetings. Pertinent issues concerning schemes and initiatives for welfare of the ex-servicemen were also discussed during the visit.
