Defence Minister to give away gallantry awards to ICG personnel on 25 Feb

The event will see the presentation of a total of 32 medals, which include 06 PTMs for Distinguished Service, 11 TMs for Gallantry, and 15 TMs for Meritorious Service.

New Delhi: The 18th Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Investiture Ceremony 2025 for the conferment of the President’s Tatrakshak Medals (PTM) and Tatrakshak Medals (TM) for gallantry, distinguished, and meritorious service to the ICG personnel will take place on February 25, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, has graciously consented to be the Chief Guest for this prestigious occasion. The ceremony will also be attended by the MoS Defence, the Defence Secretary, the Director General Indian Coast Guard, senior government officials, and distinguished officers of the ICG.

The event will see the presentation of a total of 32 medals, which include 06 PTMs for Distinguished Service, 11 TMs for Gallantry, and 15 TMs for Meritorious Service.

This solemn ceremony will honor the bravery, dedication, and exemplary service of the ICG personnel who have made significant contributions to the safety and security of the nation’s maritime domain.
