New Delhi: A legal notice has been served against the latest movie “Fighter,” starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, over a controversial scene depicting a kiss while wearing Indian Air Force (IAF) uniforms as per a report from India Today.

The notice was Issued by Saumya Deep Das, an Air Force officer from Assam, who alleged that the scene was disrespectful to the IAF.

The film’s storyline follows two skilled fighter pilots, Patty (played by Roshan) and Pragnya (played by Padukone), stationed in Jammu and Kashmir.

Their love story unfolds against the backdrop of a terrorist attack and subsequent events.

The movie, directed by Siddharth Anand and co-written by Anand and Ramon Chibb, also features Anil Kapoor in a prominent role.

It references significant events like the 2019 Pulwama attack, the Balakot airstrike, and the India-Pakistan border clashes.

“Fighter,” which hit theaters 12 days ago, has been rapidly gaining momentum at the box office, with a global collection nearing Rs 350 crore.
