Lt Gen Ajay Kumar is new DG Infantry

New Delhi: Lt Gen Ajay Kumar has taken over as Director General Infantry. Indian Army informed this on X.

The infantry is the largest arm of Indian Army. It consists of personnel, who historically have engaged in ground combat on foot. It presently also consists of mechanised and airborne infantry.
