New Delhi: Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi inaugurated the ‘Swavlamban 2024’ exhibition at Bharat Mandapam on Monday. The event aims to showcase innovations from the country’s young entrepreneurs and strengthen collaborations between the Indian Navy and various industry stakeholders.

Adm Tripathi explored various displays, including an advanced anti-drone gun developed by an Indian firm. He expressed enthusiasm for the innovative solutions showcased by the nation’s youth and noted the participation of around 115 stalls from diverse agencies, including the Indian Air Force, Indian Army, Indian Coast Guard, and the Border Security Force (BSF).

“This exhibition has provided a wonderful experience to witness the capabilities of our young entrepreneurs and the potential for future advancements. The variety on display reflects the vibrant spirit of innovation in India,” said Admiral Tripathi

Launched in 2022, the initiative aims to collaborate with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the Indian industry to address operational needs and bridge capability gaps within the Navy.
