Jodhpur: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today inaugurated India Defence Aviation Exposition (IDAX-24) at Jodhpur. This major event coincides with Exercise Tarang Shakti-24, one of the largest multinational air exercises hosted by the Indian Air Force. IDAX-24 will run from September 12 -14, highlighting the significant advancements and contributions of the Indian aviation industry.
IDAX-24 exhibits a grand display of products and technologies, offering a unique opportunity for both domestic and international participants to engage with the latest advancements in aviation. The exposition will feature contributions from Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs), the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), private industries, and top startups.
Earlier,Singh termed Multinational Exercise 'Tarang Shakti' as a medium to strengthen mutual cooperation, coordination and trust with the partner countries. Addressing the gathering at the Distinguished Visitors’ Day event in the second phase of the multinational exercise in Jodhpur, Shri Rajnath Singh said, through the Ex Tarang Shakti we have further strengthened our defense ties with all partner countries, as it instills confidence among them that whenever the need arises, we will all stand together.
Talking about India’s vision of mutual coexistence and cooperation, he underlined that in today’s time, when there is a competition among the nations to surpass each other, and there are wars ongoing in different parts of the world, our nation stands with the philosophy that we all should walk together, holding each other’s hands.
