The exercise aims to integrate combat forces through advanced technology and seamless coordination, focusing on unmanned platforms, precision weaponry, and network-centric command and control systems. Special forces and drone units play a pivotal role, operating in high-altitude, rugged conditions to simulate real battlefield environments. This joint operation significantly advances the interoperability of the tri-services by ensuring enhanced intelligence sharing, rapid communication, and joint command execution between the Army, Air Force, and Navy.
"Poorvi Prachand Prahar" builds upon the successful legacy of previous exercises like "Bhala Prahar" (2023) and "Poorvi Prahar" (2024), symbolizing continued progress in India's strategic aim to strengthen multi-domain operations. According to PRO Defence Lt. Colonel Mahendra Rawat, the exercise is a visionary step that validates multi-domain integration and showcases the operational readiness of Indian Armed Forces to counter emerging threats comprehensively.
The exercise underlines India’s commitment to maintaining border security and strengthening joint military doctrines with a focus on flexibility, rapid response, and resilience under diverse battlefield conditions. It embodies a strategic leap in modernizing India's defence forces by incorporating cutting-edge technology and redefined warfare tactics, ensuring that the three forces act as a cohesive unit during any future conflicts along India's eastern front.
In essence, "Poorvi Prachand Prahar" marks a critical effort in fortifying India's defence infrastructure and is a testament to its resolve to maintain sovereignty and readiness in an increasingly complex regional security environment.
